During large south swells, the repeating curves of blue march towards the beach nearby. Anaha’s name and curved glass façade were inspired by the reflection of light from these open ocean swells.
SCB’s partnership with The Howard Hughes Corporation led to the creation of Anaha – one of the first buildings in Honolulu’s Ward Village. This successful partnership has led to a partnership on the totally new living concept that is ‘A‘ali‘i. Both projects are prominently located in the multi-phased 60-acre master plan that achieved Platinum LEED for Neighborhood Development (LEED-ND) for all phases of the project.
